No Koning Willem I Prize for VDL Groep
On Friday 25 June the prize-giving ceremony for the Koning Willem I Prize was held. The VDL Groep was one of the nominees in the category ‘large enterprise’. Unfortunately VDL drew a blank. Stage Entertainment (category ‘large enterprise’) and Adams Musical Instruments (category SME) received the Koning Willem I Prize from His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander. The award show was held in the Royal Theatre in The Hague.
The Koning Willem I Prize is awarded once every two years by the Koning Willem I Foundation, with the active support of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The Foundation’s mission is to provide new impulses to the national economy, thereby promoting the standing of Dutch trade and industry.
We congratulate Stage Entertainment and Adams Musical Instruments with winning this award!
