This week, the Dutch Technology Festival is kicking off in Eindhoven! As a sponsor of this festival, we will be present at several events to inspire young people about the world of technology.
Below is an overview of the activities in which VDL Groep participates and which are definitely worth a visit.
Night of the Nerds takes place on Wednesday 7 June at the Klokgebouw, Area 51, and on the Ketelhuisplein in Strijp, Eindhoven. Approximately 3,000 young people aged between 13 and 18 will immerse themselves in the world of technology with fun workshops, hands-on activities, and tech talks.
In the Klokgebouw, VDL is present with the following activities:
At the Ketelhuisplein, VDL is present with the VDL on Tour bus, and young people can participate in the mobility quiz. Finally, VDL Insect Systems will give a tech talk about the future of food in Area51.
Thursday 8 June and Friday 9 June, pupils from secondary education and students from VMBO and MBO will explore various worlds of technology. VDL will be present in the following worlds:

More than 100 colleagues will battle it out on Thursday evening during Quiz Night XL, the biggest science and tech quiz in Eindhoven. In this spectacular Quiz Night XL, you can expect all kinds of questions about both big and small topics from the world of science and technology.
Saturday 10 June, two VDL companies will open their doors during the High Tech Discovery Route, featuring fun hands-on activities for young people. Between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., you can visit the following VDL companies:
