Peter Wennink has joined the Supervisory Board of VDL Groep. The 67-year-old former CEO of chip equipment manufacturer ASML has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the industrial family business based in Eindhoven since 1 September 2024.
The general meeting of shareholders of VDL Groep has appointed Peter Wennink. Chairman Willem van der Leegte of VDL Groep: “We are delighted with the addition of Peter as a new member of our Supervisory Board. Due to his extensive experience, expertise, and network, Peter is a valuable addition to our Supervisory Board.”
Peter Wennink: “VDL Groep has developed over the past decades into a significant technology supplier and can rightly be considered among the top technology and manufacturing companies in the Netherlands. In the coming decades, there will be great reliance on VDL's competencies, and contributing to that has strongly motivated me to join the Board of Supervisors”.
The Supervisory Board of VDL Groep also consists of Louis Deterink (chairman), Lau Pas, and Marjan van Loon.
