Would you like to work as a welder but do not yet have the necessary knowledge and experience? Then a lateral entry programme at VDL is the solution! This offers you the opportunity to work under a VDL contract while being trained as a welder or robot welding operator. During our information evening on 20 September in Hapert, we would be happy to tell you more.
Women in engineering is possible for everyone interested in technology. Experience is therefore not necessary. Whether you have just finished school, have been working for some time, or want a change: everyone is welcome.
Already have experience as a welder, but are you looking for a new challenge? Or do you want to progress to a higher level? Then we also warmly invite you to the information evening on 20 September. During so-called ‘speed dates’ with colleagues from various VDL companies, you can explore whether VDL is a good fit for you.
During a lateral entry program, you combine work with study. This means that one day you're working and the next day you're attending a course. You will receive a salary for your job at VDL and your entire training will be paid for.
On 20 September you will meet four VDL companies, namely: VD Leegte Metaal, VDL Container Systems, VDL TIM Hapert and VDL VDS Technische Industrie. These VDL companies from Hapert are happy to tell you more about the career opportunities available to you as a welder at VDL.
