After holding positions for 11 and 6 years respectively, Guustaaf Savenije (66) and Paul van Vuuren (65), both 3.5 years members of the executive board of VDL Groep, will retire effective from 1 July 2024.
Guustaaf Savenije started at VDL Groep in 2013 as Technology Director at VDL ETG, the high-tech cluster of VDL Groep. After 3 years, he became General Director of VDL ETG and in that capacity joined the Executive Board of VDL Groep. Paul van Vuuren began at VDL Groep at the end of 2017, as Director of VDL Nedcar. He also became a member of the Executive Board of VDL Groep following that appointment. At the end of 2020, both were appointed to the Executive Board of VDL Groep.
After the departure of Guustaaf Savenije and Paul van Vuuren, the executive board of VDL Groep consists of: Willem van der Leegte (chairman), Jennifer van der Leegte, Pieter van der Leegte, Paul van Vroonhoven and Henri Koolen.
