Change of Directorate VDL Groep

Henri Koolen (59) has joined the executive board of VDL Groep as of 1 September.

Henri Koolen has been working at VDL Groep since 1999 and has held various management positions since then. Since 2007, he has been a member of the VDL Groep executive management team. In this role, he acts as a sparring partner for managing directors of VDL subsidiaries and represents those companies in the group executive board. 

In his new role, Koolen will primarily focus on activities in the Bus and End Products divisions. He will combine this with some of his supervisory activities.

With the appointment of Henri Koolen, the main management of VDL Groep consists of: Willem van der Leegte, Pieter van der Leegte, Jennifer van der Leegte, Paul van Vroonhoven, Guustaaf Savenije, Paul van Vuuren and Henri Koolen. The main management team, together with the deputy management team, forms the management team of VDL Groep. The deputy management team includes: Rémi Henkemans, Bas van der Leegte, Jos van Meijl, Edwin Willems, Marc van Doorn, Rolf-Jan Zweep, Geert Jakobs and John van Soerland.
